  • Lecture slides, PDFs, and notes you upload for lessons
  • Documents are processed to generate personalized lessons
  • We aim to delete documents after lesson generation, but temporary copies may exist in our systems or provider systems during processing

Deepgram (Voice Processing):

  • Receives audio for speech-to-text conversion

Amazon Web Services / Amazon Bedrock:

  • Receives conversation context to generate educational responses
  • Generates experimental AI illustrations and images within chats and lessons — these feature are experimental and may be inaccurate; please verify all information.
  • May process or retain data according to their policies
  • We minimize personal identifiers where possible
  • Subject to AWS data practices and service terms

Firebase / Google Cloud:

  • Secure data storage and processing
  • Data encrypted at rest and in transit
  • Subject to Google's data practices

Payment Processors:

  • Process subscription payments
  • We never see complete payment card details
  • Handled according to PCI DSS standards

Analytics Providers:

  • Help us understand usage patterns

  • Voice recordings may be retained for quality improvement, and third-party provider retention varies.
  • Chat transcripts are kept for conversation continuity and service improvement.
  • Uploaded documents are deleted after processing, though temporary copies may persist briefly.
  • Payment records are retained as required by law.

8.2 Third-Party Retention

Our providers (Deepgram, Amazon Web Services, etc.) may retain data according to their own policies. We encourage you to review their privacy policies for complete information.

8.3 Account Deletion

When you delete your account:

  • We delete your personal data within 30 days
  • Some anonymized/aggregated data may persist
  • We cannot force third-party providers to delete data they've already received
  • Backup systems may retain data briefly before purging
